Simple tips for taking better photos

51gZwAX6YvL._SL160_If you’re like me, you probably shoot a lot of photos, and print them out on your inkjet printer. Which is great, because I can save money on printer ink if I only print out the very best photos. I am however always trying to improve my photography skills.

My son is growing up so fast, and I always seem to miss the shot or I come up with a bunch of pictures that never get printed because on one little thing or another that just isn’t quite right. I often don’t frame my shots correctly, or my lighting is just wrong.

But there is hope for amateur shutterbugs like myself.

I found a great little resource with a few tips and tricks that will help make you a better photographer. It includes a  few practical tips for:

  • Shooting In Sunlight
  • Shooting with Cloudy or Overcast Skies
  • Learn about the Magic or Golden Hour
  • How to get more out of your flash
  • What is “Red Eye” and how to avoid it
  • The Rule of Thirds
  • And Much More
